RESIDENCE FOR REASONS OF INTEREST SCIENTIFIC, CULTURAL AND SPORTS

A foreign natural person enjoying international recognition for its expertise in the field of science, culture and sport and establishes his principal residence in Andorra for at least 90 days per calendar year, is deemed resident for reasons of scientific, cultural and sporting.

People with that residence may pursue their professional activities provided that they are mainly directed at persons or entities not resident in Andorra (at least 85% of the services to be used in a country or territory, what that he is other than Andorra).

Conditions for obtaining a residence permit for reasons of scientific, cultural and sports:
- Be of age 18+ or emancipated 
- Accredit that the activity to develop in the area of ​​science, culture and sport will generate sufficient economic income set by regulation for that both the resident as his dependents may reside in the Principality Andorra throughout the continued validity of the residence for reasons of scientific, cultural or sports
- Justifying social security coverage and health insurance, disability and old age for applicant and dependents, effective for Andorra
- Prove, per unit, owner status or a tenant
- Commitment in writing to fix his main and effective residency in Andorra and maintain in force the insurance contract
- Set and file with the Andorran National Institute of Finance (INAF) the sum of € 50,000, plus € 10,000 for each dependent person
